This page contains some of the important facts that you will need to know if you are considering getting married with us. We hope you find it useful but know that however much information we write down there will still be so much to talk about in person when you start planning your Big Day.
Each member of our award winning team is approachable, available and helpful in the extreme so make use of our expertise, ask questions, come along to our regular open days and enjoy the journey!
If you are considering one of our packages please ensure that you understand what is included. If it not expressly listed, it is not included. In which case the prices on our Package Upgrades page or Decorations & Extras page apply. Make sure alterations to your package are agreed in writing to save embarassment or upset later on.
Terms & Conditions
You will be given a copy of our full wedding terms and conditions at the time of booking. They are also available here or can be requested from Reception. Please ensure that you read them and approach us with any queries at your earliest opportunity.
Deposits & Payments
In order to secure a wedding date, a deposit amounting to 25% of the function cost will be due. A further payment of 50% is due 3 months before the Big Day with the final balance payable two weeks before the wedding. Some or all of these deposits will be non-refundable in the event that you cancel. See terms and conditions for full details.
We must insist that all couples obtain wedding insurance which covers them for liability and cancellation. Within four weeks of booking your wedding we require a copy of your insurance to hold on file.
Booking the Registrars
In order to marry at The Hotel, the couple must make the necessary arrangements with the registrar. Ceremonies must not be before 1.00pm without prior arrangement and not before 3.00pm for Cupid package bookings. Please contact Shropshire Registration Service: 0345 678 9016 email@example.com
Third Party Suppliers and Your Own Decorations
For planning and health and safety reasons, the Hotel requires three months advanced notification if you are planning to engage suppliers and service providers other than those arranged by the Hotel. This includes entertainers, DJs and musicians, chocolate fountains, equipment suppliers such as bouncy castle and bucking broncos, firework displays and party decorators. There may be a charge for this. We must also be informed of all props and decorations that you intend to bring yourself.
