Woodland at Wroxeter
Welcome to The Wroxeter's rustic woodland ceremony site, an enclosed section of the hotel's grounds encircled by trees and away from the hotel building.
With woodchip ground cover and seating for your guests, the site is entered through our wild flower meadow May to August with views across to the Wrekin. During September and October theming is autumnal with cut straw and an Oktoberfest feel. From May to October our giant Kata tipis complete with fairy lights, furniture and bar are in place next to the ceremony area and available for canapés, cocktails and your wedding breakfast.
We have significant experience with “outdoor” and tented weddings and have been listening carefully to what brides and grooms (and their mums, dads and grannies!) have been telling us about their hopes, ideas and reservations.
Woodland at Wroxeter is the perfect option for couples looking for a woodland themed wedding which will not be a disaster if it rains, is accessible for guests with reduced mobility and offers a cost effective tented day. If you have visions of dense woodland on a virgin plot miles from anywhere this may seem tame but remember it offers the best of all wedding worlds - consider it the sensible themed option!
