Events

We have a spectacular programme of events at The Wroxeter Hotel this year with the aim of boosting the county’s morale and encouraging Shropshire to Keep Calm and Party On!

Some of our events have a wartime feel to them in keeping with our adopted Keep Calm slogan, others are more contemporary but they will all give people a boost and hopefully chase away some of those recession blues.

On May 24, people can put on their dancing shoes and enjoy a bit of Motown and Northern Soul for £19.95.

Later in the year on June 26, guests of all ages can come together for a heart-warming afternoon with a Vera Lynn tribute act.

In July, we have a ballroom dinner dance where party goers can show off their moves with professional ballroom dancer Kevin Fletcher. It will be a really glamorous occasion but only costs £22.50.

Events planned for later in the year include an Italian evening on August 8, a rock n roll jive night on August 25 and a Spanish evening on September 14.

We’re offering a whole range of events at prices people can afford. We know times are hard but relaxing with friends and family and pulling together can help put a smile back on all of our faces!
