BALLOONS AWAY AT BUSINESS SEMINAR
(24/10/10)
How to boost your rapport with clients was the subject of a successful business seminar held at The Wroxeter Hotel – with the addition of colourful balloons used to get the points over.
Corporate trainer Kate Rigby gave an insight into making that first meeting with a prospective client both memorable and successful.
She told the audience of businessmen and women how to “talk the same language” and communicate effectively.
“It’s giving them what you have to sell in such a way as to make it effortless and to make them buy from you,” said Kate, of Atcham, who has worked with blue chip companies and small and medium businesses over the past 20 years.
First impressions, asking questions with skill, the client 'feelgood' factor, and how to alter the way you behave were just some of the advice on offer.
She holds regular 'unforgettable' workshops designed to help people be confident and in control with customers and at every different type of business situation.
At the three star Wroxeter Hotel, Kate used a range of colourful balloons to show the different personalities of business people with red for those wanting immediate action, blue for friendly clients who liked to chat and green for those who liked time to consider.
The Wroxeter’s Assistant Director Margot Foster said the business seminar went down well with visitors who came to the hotel’s successful Business Open day.
“There was a lot of laughter and Kate certainly got over her interesting business ideas in a very memorable way.”
