Meet the Team

Time served hospitality expertise; blue skies creativity; broad business acumen; youthful exuberance; commitment; a sense of fun. The Wroxeter Hotel team contains a dynamic wealth of experience, personalities and ambition, all carefully blended and balanced to ensure that our guests get the best whilst our team members give of - and achieve - their best.

Hannah Hall

Our team is ably led by Hannah Hall who combines experience as a parliamentary aide, TV presenter and marketing consultant with general management skills and a desire “to do something completely different”. The Wroxeter Hotel venture marks a return to Shropshire for Hannah who grew up in the county and can think of nowhere else she’d rather be!

Ed Hall Hannah is assisted by husband, Ed, who served in the British Army for 20 years, retired as a Major and subsequently worked as a human resources specialist. He is the "plant" of the organisation and juggles care of two year old Jasper. Ed enjoys running, walking, cycling and canoeing, and has a keen interest in local history and geography, so if you want guidance on enjoying the local area he will be happy to advise.
 Margot Foster

Assistant director Margot Foster is the chocolate smooth voice of The Wroxeter Hotel and the “glue” of the organisation. Her immense experience in the hospitality industry and her devotion to efficiency and customer service are a beacon to us all. Margot’s a family girl and spends most of her spare time with partner Adrian and six year old daughter, Teah. She’s a brilliant cook and actually does it for fun!

Richard Scott Operations manager Richard Scott completes the senior management team. A former hotel manager and restaurant owner, he has in excess of 30 years experience in the hotel and food trade. Richard takes an interest in food outside of work too - particularly wild food, bee keeping and other country pursuits.  He’s married to Anna and has a nine year old son, James. As a family they are all keen morris dancers.
 Paul Marshall

Head chef Paul Marshall joined long-serving Wroxeter banqueting chefs Tony Goodfellow and Tracy Ford in 2008 and is developing a county wide reputation for contemporary British food and themed restaurant evenings. Paul's strong faith and commitment to his Church along with a young family occupy his time outside of work.
